Does it hurt?add

There is a brief sting when the line goes in, similar to a blood draw. After that most people forget it is there.

How often should I come?add

It depends on why you are coming. Some patients drip monthly as maintenance, others only before travel or during a hard stretch. We will tell you honestly what we think you need.

Do I need to be a Root Works patient?add

No. IV therapy is open to anyone. Program patients receive member rates.

Can I eat beforehand?add

Please do. A light meal and water before your visit make placement easier and the session more comfortable.

Is it covered by insurance?add

No, but it is HSA and FSA eligible.
